Nana, Clayre, & I had an awesome time at Fossil Rim in Glenn Rose, TX. It is a drive through safari and you buy a bag of food pellets and get to feed the animals. The giraffes will eat right out of your hand. It was so awesome. The animals were beautiful and like to visit the people in the cars. Clayre got a “baby” giraffe at the gift shop and is in love with her. She calls her “Bella” and rides on her, dances with her, and loves to give her kisses and food pellets.

These are pictures of Clayre with Ms. Suzanne, her wonderful Kindermusik teacher. There is also a video of class which will be posted later. These pictures show Clayre and Ms. Suzanne before class starts, awaiting all of our friends, singing “Hello,” and quiet time (today she was rocking her baby lamb to sleep for a nap).

Clayre is right now in Water Baby 3…and has already been promoted to Water Tots. Miss Kathryn has been her teacher for more than a year now, and she is a great swimmer. She can swim underwater for 10 to 12 seconds. Now, Miss Kathryn is working the mommies out of the pool and the kiddos are starting to learn to wait their turn and swim without their mommies holding them. Ken being home this week was awesome, not only did we get to spend more time with him, but he got to see all of Clayre’s awesome activities. There will be videos posted later.

We went to downtown Fort Worth for the fireworks show outside of the Cats Stadium. We waited until 9:45 for the fireworks to start, entertaining Clayre with our iPhones…and she loved the fireworks for about 5 minutes. And then she got scared and we had to leave, which ended up being a blessing because we missed all of the traffic. We probably would have been home a hour later if we had stayed for the entire show.

Clayre loved going to the Rangers game, although it rained so much we had to leave before it started. She kept saying “Go Rangers” and “Yeah Baseball.” She had so much fun jumping in puddles and cheering for the Rangers, and then she said, “Bye-Bye Baseball” and we went home.

Today we went to the Dallas World Aquarium. It was awesome!!! When you ask Clayre what she saw that the aquarium, she says, “colors of fish.” We also saw ducks, lots of beautiful tropical birds, tons of turtles, a sloth, some different small monkeys, rays, sharks, and seahorses!!! Oh and flamingos and a jaguar. It was so cool! The little picture of the penguin is sweet. He was all alone. Ken asked him where his friends were and he literarly sighed. There were also lots of differnt reptiles and amphibians. There is also a picture of Clayre looking at a tank of baby turtles and rays. Some of the rays were only a week old and the bigger ones were about 11 months old.Clayre, Ken, & I had a blast!

We got on a disel train at Silver Plume, but had a 45 minute wait. Ken taught Clayre how to throw rocks!!! Yeah! (sarcastically….) Oh, and these are pictures of the steam engine train that would have departed about 1.5 hours after we got there. We couldn’t wait, but it looked really cool…and sounded awesome!

We had to entertain Clayre with videos through all of the driving around we did. Here she is eating a gingersnap and watching Dora. These are pictures at a lookout point on a mountian north of Boulder.
