We’re getting close to having Clayre’s room ready to go.  The only things left are to put in a new ceiling fan, and build a closet organizer.  We hung the curtains last night, and Hollie put up the mirror over the changing table this afternoon.

I know my wonderful wife already posted a thank you message, and is diligently crafting thank you notes to everyone, but I wanted to also express my gratitude.  I had a great time the last few weekends in Little Rock, and it was great to see everyone.  Thank you for coming out to show your love and support for our growing family.  Clayre will be here very soon, and we can’t wait to share her with all of you.

Ken & I just returned home on Sunday and I have been unpacking ever since.  I was home for 2 weeks because we had 4 showers to attend.  They were beautiful!  We got  lots of precious and useful items for Clayre.  My cousins Alicia, Katrina, and Tara gave me a shower in which my family and a few high school friends attended.  My mom’s work and Ken’s mom’s work both gave us a shower.  And then Ken’s mom (Gramma) gave us a shower for Ken’s side of the family along with some friends.  Everyone was very generous.  I am still waiting on pictures from the Grandmas so stay tuned for some pictures.
