Waiting in line for the ice slide (Clayre actually didn’t get to slide because she was too small, but it was really fast!)  We liked the hand rail in the ice. DSC_0400

We had to bundle up to get into ICE…

ICE is an exhibit at the Gaylord Texan that is made entirely of ice!!!  This year it was the story How the Grinch Stole Christmas.  And it was awesome!!!  We loved it, even though it was a cool 9 degrees inside.

The Grinch took our camera and took these pictures with it…hahahaha…even a self portrait…

Breakfast with Grinchy Claus was awesome.  Clayre even seemed to like him…at least better than St. Nick.  The Food was delicious too!  We had eggs benedict, roast beast, who pudding, and there was a green chocolate fountain.  You can see it in the background of Clayre eating green chocolate.

Today we visited the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine for Breakfast with the Grinch and ICE…these are pictures of the gingerbread house display.  It was awesome.  Clayre loved it and I’m not sure she knew it was made of real cookies & candy…

The Get Away

DSC_0232

Clayre somehow squirmmed her way our of Daddy’s hand for a moment.  I somehow caught it on the camera.  The picture below is a zoom in of her face.  She looks so excited to be free.  Actually, she is really good about holding onto our hand.

Christmastime in Grapevine was beautiful.  We had lots of fun strolling the streets.  Clayre enjoyed the antique “robots” and Ken & I enjoyed the historical buildings and watching our little girl have fun!

Clayre & I played dress up tonight.  She loved it!  She didn’t love me following her around with a camera though! Oh well, you think she would be used to it by now.

It snowed this morning at our house.  I quickly got Clayre dressed and put a coat and hat on her so she could play in the snow for a few minutes.  We tried to catch some with her tongue, but finally picked some out of my hair on the way in and tried it.  She liked the snow, but was glad to come back inside where it was warm.
